Welcome to K9-5K Race

The K9-5K Race 2009 is a run/walk benefiting the Dorothy O'Connor Pet Adoption Center. Last year, both humans and canines had a great time with over 120 people and 50 dogs participating - a number we hope to surpass this year. Starting and ending in the Citizen's HealthPlex parking lot is a perfect location for the race and the October time frame almost guarantees cool weather. If you missed out on the event last year, come out for a great time this year on October 24, 2009. Please check other parts of the website for event information including links to our wonderful sponsors who make this event possible. If you can not attend this year, please visit us anyway and find out how you can participate in helping our animals in need.

Race Information

Race begins October 24 2009 at 8AM, located at Citizens HealthPlex on 9406 Zac Lentz Parkway.

Owners must show proof of current rabies vaccinations the day of the race. All dogs must be leashed. Aggressive dogs and dogs in heat should not participate. Entries by mail must be received by October 9, 2009. Race day registration will be 7 a.m. - 8 a.m. at the Citizen's HealthPlex Parking Lot. Entry fee = $20/adults, $15/kids 17 and under, $5/dogs. Pre-Race Packet Pick-Up will also be available from 4pm - 6pm on Friday, October 23 at the Citizen's HealthPlex Lobby.

Day of Race Registration increases entry fees to = $25/adults, $18/kids 17 and under, $7/dogs.
